The season began two weeks ago and we finally had a chance to play another team. You can only do so many drills and scrimmage yourself so many times. It is always nice to finally play someone in live competition. Friday the girls played Fallon and Battle Mountain. They played well in both games losing to a quality team in Fallon, and then they beat Battle Mountain who are always a great opponent to play because of their great sportsmanship. It is nice to see that once in a while. Saturday the girls played Sparks and then the Fallon J.V. team. Sparks was a little messy for us in the loss, but the girls came back strong against the Fallon J.V. team and did some great passing and working together as a team.
Thursday will be the beginning on league play as we host Sparks. I am sure we will play a much better game than we did today.
