Dayton vs Fernley
Okay, in my mind we are still just about to score. What a game this was today. The final score was 2-1, and we played a great team game. We had plenty of opportunites, which tells me that we were doing things right. Without doing things right, we wouldn't have had those opportunities. So, what I am saying is, great job creating those chances! Was is a physical game? Yes. Are we so close to breaking things open with this team? Yes. I am sorry that I didn't get more pictures of this game, I was just too excited. So many times I wish I could just run out there are play along side with you.

Dayton vs. Lovelock
They did it! They won the game to put themselves in position for a great playoff spot. The girls have one game left this Thursday at 4:30 at home. This is a very important game for the standings. If we have the numbers right, if we win we should be in second place hosting a playoff game. If we do not win, then we will drop to 3rd or 4th depending on how other games have gone. I guess there is still a chance at 2nd depending on how others have done also. Back to the game. It sounded like another cold and windy game which made it difficult for everyone, but the girls came out on top 3-0. Good job! One to go, for now.

Dayton vs. Battle Mountain
After our tough game vs Spring Creek, the team had to come out and show they were ready to play together again. They did just that. They came out strong and kept playing strong the entire game. They won 6-0. Way to go. Now there are only 2 game remaining in league play, and both are very important for our seeding in the playoffs.

Dayton vs Spring Creek
Okay, where do I start? Let's just say that Spring Creek is a good team, and we made them look better than they are. I think this was a very important game for us, and not important as far as wins and losses. Yes, we lost, but we hopefully have learned from it. When you make a mistake in life or in a game, and we all do, it is important to remember that it isn't the mistake that makes us, it is how we react to it. Tomorrow will tell me how we react to adversity. The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing. I can't wait to get back out on the field and I hope you girls feel the same way.
Here are a few pics from the game.

Dayton vs Lowry
Here is an update on the Lowry game. We knew it was a tie, and the score was 3-3. Our next battle comes next Friday against Spring Creek, who always has a great team. Maybe we can do more damage with that game also!

Cold and Wet
It was a cold and very wet day on the field today. We are now starting the second round of games so we started with Yerington again. After a close first half leading 1-0, the girls came out strong and finished the game 5-0. Everyone did a great job today playing as a team. Much improved from the first game of the year. Way to go girls! Good luck tomorrow at Lowry.
Sam, do you have something in your eye?

Her first game back!
Tomorrow will be one of our players first game back since falling off her counter and breaking her foot. Are you Ready to play? I know she is excited, let's hope her foot holds up for the next 2 games. After that, we have 9 days before our next game. Tomorrow we play Yerington, let's hope we play well as a team as we will also be without 2 players. You will be missed! Good luck tomorrow.

Dayton vs Fernley
What a fun game! We new coming in to this game that it was going to be close. That it was. It was such an intense game that I really didn't get any pictures of the game. The girls came out and put one in the back of the net in the first minute. We added another later in the first half. Fernley came back and gave them a 2-2 tie. During the 2-2 tie, one of the girls had been getting knocked around a little, even in the head a couple of times. As she was sitting on the bench, she asked if she could go back in. After a little talk, she went back in. Good thing because she ended up putting the winning goal in the back of the net. Dayton won 3-2. Our headache girl is my mvp for the game. All the girls played hard, just a little frantic at time.
Here is our future trainer. I think I would rather have her on the field, but we will take what we can get for now.
